I'm ready

I'm listening to this wonderful song by Bryan Adams. i'm ready... to love. 

But is it really enough just to be ready to love? 
In a relationship or in the beginning of a relationship there will be a lot of love, but what about trust? It should be also about being ready to trust someone, to let yourself in to this special one and maybe to take the risk and get maybe hurt. With no trust how can love last?

And the more pain you had in your life, in your earlier relationship, the harder it will be for you to be actually ready. Ready to trust again, to love, to let yourself sink into the arms of a new partner.

And as long you think, maybe he/ she will hurt you, will cheat on you, might not be serious with you, how can you keep on loving this one?  And all you can do is to trust. To believe you hear the truth.

So be ready to love and be ready to trust.
