I’m not a believer, and yet I find it always easy to believe in the magic of superstition. Would I ever find a four leaf clover, I would feel certainly to get a lot of luck. If the mirror breaks and whisper softly to me “now you have for seven years bad luck in love”, I see myself in the shards of the mirror saying, laughing,” Oh, this is just a superstition!“ Flies a ladybug on my hand and has two black spots on its red dress, I know it is a good day.
How I twist it and turn it the good is always on my side. For the bad times I spend only little time. Even if a black cat crosses the road from left to right in, I feel fortunate in my life and say, laughing to the cat,
"you don’t frighten me!"
